Land for rent in Portugal for sustainable living

Are you looking for land for rent in Portugal for a permaculture project, building a homestead or to create your own eco community?

We have 3 hectares of land for rent in central Portugal (Penamacor area). It is next to the land we use ourselves for a permaculture project and we can share the development of the food forest we are building and the small lake that we use as a water source.

The land for rent consists of two hectares of wild forest with oak trees and 20 mature olive trees. Perfect for setting up a food forest. It also has 1 hectare of land suitable for growing vegetables, fruits and herbs. It is possible to rent the land on a long term contract.

There are no buildings on the land, so you can choose to live in your own yurt, caravan or build your own tiny house or cabin on the land.

If you are unable to live in Portugal the whole year, you can also join us as a participant in our permaculture project.
