Permaculture land for rent in Portugal

Are you looking for land for rent in Portugal for a permaculture project, building a homestead or to start your own eco community or spiritual community?

We have two adjacent plots of land for rent in central Portugal (Penamacor area):

Plot 1 is 4 hectares of open countryside with a small lake in the middle and some 70 mature olive trees. It has 1 hectare of arable land suitable for growing vegetables and herbs.

Plot 2 is 4 hectares of forest with cork oak and olive trees. It has 1 hectare of arable land suitable for growing vegetables and herbs.

Both plots have really nice views of the surrounding area and the Estrelas mountain range.

The rental fee is €590 per plot per month and the rental period is 1 year or more. If you rent both plots the rental fee is €1100 per month.

There are no buildings on the land, so you can choose to live in your own yurt, caravan, campervan or build your own tiny house or cabin on the land. You can build maximum 40m2 per plot.

We plan to install a borehole for water supply that can be used for both plots. Both plots are off grid, but next to plot 2 the electricity grid ends next to the land. So if required you can easily extend it to the land. Or you can use your own solar power.
