One of our dear friends was very enthusiastic about receiving the freshly preserved olives. With Christmas eve she spontaneously organised an olive tasting celebration with her family. Ten people tasted on taste, firmness, salt-bitterness balance, whether the stone is easy to remove and what they thought of the addition of garlic and rosemary.
The feedback of the Pure olives is:
Very tasty and pure. The balance between bitter-salt is perfect. It is a firm olive and the stone is easy to remove. It is a chic olive.
The feedback of the olives with Garlic is:
The combination of olives and Garlic is perfect. The taste of the garlic is a bit too strong to eat as an appetizer olive.
The feedback of the olives with Rosemary is:
The combination of olives and Rosemary is perfect. Some had the impression that the taste of rosemary was a bit too much, but still very tasty. Very good for an appetizer olive.
We are very pleased with this enthusiastic feedback.
We also like the bitter-salt balance of the olives. We are very pleased that we still taste the bitterness in the olives, which is hardly found in processed olives anymore.
We also had the impression ourselves that the taste of the olives with Garlic is a bit strong. So we use these ‘garlic olives’ now for making tapenade. In this way the garlic has a more subtle taste and not a lot extra ingredients are needed to have a sensational product.
About the taste of olives with Rosemary we had a different impression. The taste of the olives in the jar that we opened was very delicate. So perhaps there is a difference in taste in different jars.
Well this beautiful olives are not processed in a factory and isn’t it that the beauty of artisan olives, that every bite is a surprise to eat!
